The Dykhouse Student Athlete Center is the first phase of a new athletics complex
on the South Dakota State University campus, and the first state building to be registered
as a LEED Silver project.
The building is prominently located at the north end zone of Coughlin
Alumni Stadium, home of the Jackrabbits football team. The Dykhouse Student Athlete
Center will house all of the operations for SDSU's Division I football program and
will also include an academic center for all student athletes when it opens in Fall 2009.
It is located near several other outdoor fields for convenient access
when the facilities for the remaining outdoor sports are added in future phases.
