Koch Hazard Helps Raise Funds for Children’s Inn

KHA placed first in the snow sculpture competition at Media One Funski.

Koch Hazard Architects assisted Media One, and a slew of other sponsors, in raising over $30,000 for Children’s Inn at the 28th Annual Media One Funski. Events over the weekend included skiing, tubing, snow boarding, sledding (zipfy), kicking (frozen leg kickball), biking (fat bike-cross style race) and sculpting.

KHA competed in its 14th snow sculpture competition out at Great Bear. Other participants included Architecture Incorporated, Associated Consulting Engineers, Inc., Dakota Golf Management, Dakota Video & Post, Perspective, Sioux Steel, Stockwell, Stone Group Architects and TSP. Results from this year’s competition are below:

Children’s Inn provides free services for women, children and men who are victims of family violence, elder abuse, child abuse, neglect or sexual assault. Children’s Inn was founded in 1977 and through a merger in 1998, became a program of Children’s Home Society of South Dakota, a private, nonprofit organization.”
