The client for this project envisioned an organic building that would capture the culture and the cuisine of South America in an atmosphere of sophisticated playfulness. Inspired by the form of the nautilus and by designs of traditional Brazilian Churrascaria, Koch Hazard anchored the design concept around a cylindrical node that contains a large cooking hearth. The building then spirals outward sequentially around the bar and into the fine dining area. Carnaval Brazilian Grill Story.
