Sioux Falls Design Center

The Sioux Falls Design Center is a small space in downtown Sioux Falls that hosts exhibits, lectures, receptions, and other activities designed to inform the community about the function of design in creating a great quality of life. The SFDC is essentially an open rectangle with a diagonal wall of rolling doors to define toliet, kitchen, office and storage space. The Center is expected to be South Dakota’s first LEED Platinum CI project. More than 90% of the interior and all of the exterior shell was lef intact. This project is a 2012 AIA South Dakota Design Merit Award winner.
