This skywalk between Phillips Centre and Shriver Square in downtown Sioux Falls is designed for visual economy. Its proportions and truss configuration were carefully considered to achieve a sense of ‘lightness’ and elegant simplicity. To achieve its clean lines, all structural, heating, ventilating and lighting systems are designed to fit within the visual framework of the steel trusses. This project is a 1996 AIA South Dakota Design Honor Award winner.
