Skywalk, Phillips Centre to Shrivers Square

Client: Dunham Co. / City of Sioux Falls | Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Completion: 1995 | Area: 800 s.f.

Design Summary

This skywalk between Phillips Centre and Shriver Square in downtown Sioux Falls is designed for visual economy. Its proportions and truss configuration were carefully considered to achieve a sense of ‘lightness’ and elegant simplicity. To achieve its clean lines, all structural, heating, ventilating and lighting systems are designed to fit within the visual framework of the steel trusses.

Koch Hazard Architects provided complete architectural, interior design and construction administration services for this new construction project.
