KHA Joins City Administrative Building Project Team

Koch Hazard Architects will design the proposed City of Sioux Falls administration building.

This past June, the City of Sioux Falls initiated a competitive request for proposal process for professional architectural and engineering design services for a City administrative office building. The City Council approved the contract during its October 19, 2015, meeting.

“We are honored and excited to take on the challenge of designing a new facility to address long-term community growth, improve service to citizens, strengthen departmental collaboration, improve the employee work environment, and maximize the return on each taxpayer dollar,” says Keith Thompson, Principal for Koch Hazard.

The scope of Koch Hazard’s work will include professional services to generate conceptual ideas, engage stakeholders, and ultimately reach a recommended design. Koch Hazard also will complete the programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and post-construction services. The design team also includes Stockwell Engineers, Structural Engineering Associates, Associated Consulting Engineering, Inc., and The Sextant Group.
