Tea Area High School

The Tea Area School District partnered with Koch Hazard Architects on a comprehensive renovation and addition to their existing high school, designed to support the district’s projected growth over the next twenty years. The planning process carefully evaluated every aspect of the student experience—from circulation and traffic flow to appropriately scaled learning and gathering spaces.

The project includes flexible classrooms and dedicated spaces for science, music, and other academic programs, ensuring the facility can evolve alongside curriculum and student needs. Particular attention was given to designing spaces that maximize functionality and long-term value, helping the district invest wisely while creating an environment that supports all students.

A centerpiece of the project is a new, state-of-the-art 1,200-seat Performing Arts Center, providing a dynamic venue for school and community performances.
