Client: YWCA | Locations: Sioux Falls, SD
Date of Completion: 1999 | Area: 13,160 SF

The YWCA, now EmBe, asked Koch Hazard Architects to prepare a master plan for its downtown Sioux Falls facility. The activities wing with its gym, pool and lockers had not been touched since it was built and the vacated women’s residence wing had been only partially converted to house a childcare center. The master plan accommodates: expanded daycare capacity, exercise programming and conference programming; improved offices and accessibility. This project is a 2005 AIA South Dakota Honor Award winner.
