Wegener Graduates from Leadership Sioux Falls Program

Brooke Wegener, Partner, Chief Strategy Officer at Koch Hazard Architects, become a recent graduate of the Leadership Sioux Falls program. Wegener, Leadership Sioux Falls Class 34, took part in a graduation ceremony on Thursday, September 3 in downtown Sioux Falls, with speakers consisting of Mayor Paul TenHaken and former Governor Dennis Daugaard.

Wegener was the fourth member of the Koch Hazard team to graduate from the Leadership Sioux Falls program. Jeff Hazard is a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls 04 (Class of 1990), Chris Schiltz is a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls 06 (Class of 1992) and Stacey McMahan is a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls 18 (Class of 2004).

McMahan is a current Principal at Koch Hazard Architects, while Schiltz retired from the firm in 2015 and is happily enjoying his retirement. Hazard passed away in 2019 after a short battle with leukemia.

Wegener joined Koch Hazard in 2011 as a Marketing & Graphics Coordinator and became the firm’s first non-architect partner in 2018.

The Evan C. Nolte Leadership Sioux Falls program is designed to meet the community´s need for active participation of informed and dedicated community leaders and since 1986, the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce has promoted and fostered the development of leadership in the greater Sioux Falls community. Last night, the program graduated it’s 1,000 member.
