Prairie Berry East Bank Wins Design Award

AIA South Dakota announced its 2016 Design Award winners on Friday, September 16.

AIA South Dakota announced its 2016 Design Award winners and the Prairie Berry East Bank project within the Frank Building by Koch Hazard Architects received a Merit award. 27 projects were submitted and two received merit awards.

Every year, AIA South Dakota acknowledges exceptional design by inviting a nationally recognized architect to jury the work of South Dakota Architects. Marlon Blackwell, FAIA, a national award-winning architect in Fayetteville, Ark., served as this year’s juror.

Prairie Berry East Bank is a popular spot to enjoy award-winning wines, local craft beers and artisan cuisine. Prairie Berry is owned and operated by a fifth generation winemaker from Hill City, South Dakota.
