Design Summary
George McGovern Middle School is an adaptation of Memorial Middle School, designed by Koch Hazard in 1995. It is the second public school in Sioux Falls designed specifically for middle school students. The Memorial Middle School design is proven, needing only minor revisions to accommodate the District’s current needs. Enhancements from the previous middle school design include an auditorium, expanded commons and servery, and additional classrooms.
