Koch Hazard Architects has an immediate need for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. The firm, founded in 1961, is a professional service firm of 16 architects, interior designers and planners. Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with principals on overall marketing strategy.
  • Maintain brand standards across the office and other platforms.
  • Read and analyze RFQ/RFP’s to assist the team in providing complete and thorough content.
  • Work with principals, senior staff and consultants to design, write and produce proposals, presentations and other marketing materials.
  • Maintain Koch Hazard social media accounts.
    • Develop and implement social media strategy aligned with brand goals.
    • Create, curate and manage high-quality content for various social media accounts.
    • Build and nurture relationships with our online community.
    • Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Maintain Koch Hazard website.
    • Update pages as needed.
    • Create content.
    • Work with a third-party vendor for larger website design updates.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update marketing collateral materials (resumes, projects, etc.).
  • Maintain spreadsheet documenting all pursuits.
  • Assist in networking and industry events as needed.
  • Coordinate and (potentially design) email blasts and other advertisements.
  • Assist in coordinating community office events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Technical Writing or related field.  
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the marketing field performing some or all of the primary or second responsibilities listed above.
    • AEC firm experience a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing social media strategies preferred.
  • Proficiency in WordPress a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with some direction.
  • Ability to maintain flexible attitude and approach toward assignments.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
