Design Summary

Originally built in 1955 with additions in 1961 and 1988, Cleveland Elementary School completed an addition and renovation as a part of the district’s most recent Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The project added a new gymnasium (doubling as an emergency shelter) and several classrooms, while other areas of the building (former gym and cafeteria) were renovated to music and multi-purpose space.   Mechanical and electrical systems were brought up to code and provide greatly improved energy efficiency. A new playground, parking lot and bus and parent drop-off and pick-up lane were added to improve student and teacher safety.

Koch Hazard Architects provided complete architectural, interior design and construction administration services for this building.
