Design Summary
This new facility includes support and organizational maintenance shops for all SDARNG vehicles used in South Dakota. Four shop areas including organizational maintenance, allied trades, communications and electronics, and combined support maintenance are organized around a central support core. A wide variety of services, from a simple oil change to the complete rebuilding of a tank, are provided to SDARNG units.
Koch Hazard Architects provided complete architectural, interior design and construction administration services for this new construction project.
Project Highlight
The shops include a complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure, numerous traveling cranes and state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies.
